Spring Road Restriction. RM roads are restricted to Secondary weight effective immediately.
The Council of the R.M. of Edenwold No. 158 has opted out of the Spring Road Restriction Program, which the Saskatchewan Ministry of Highways and Transportation administers, and which typically goes into effect at the end of February.
During the 2024 spring road restriction season, this provision will allow you to haul secondary highways weights (as opposed to restricted weights) on municipal roads within this municipality. Your overweight permit, which allows you to haul primary highway weights, is not valid during this period.
Please note that Council may opt back into the program at any time, and it is your responsibility to check the orders issued by the Saskatchewan Ministry of Highways and Transportation each Tuesday and Friday during the road restriction season.
