Emergency Services

The RM of Edenwold provides and supports several emergency service programs in the municipality and community. This includes firefighting, the Community Safety Officer (CSO) program, the RCMP, and Rural Crime Watch 158. Further, the RM also maintains a bylaw court in the City of Regina.


May 27, 2023 Plow Wind Event

The Saskatchewan Public Safety Agency has approved the RM of Edenwold’s Request for Designation as an eligible assistance area under the Provincial Disaster Assistance Program (PDAP) for the May 27th Plow Wind. PDAP is a Provincial program that helps residents, small businesses, agricultural operations, First Nations, non-profit organizations, and communities recover from natural disasters, including flooding, tornadoes, plow winds and other disasters caused by severe weather. PDAP may help cover the cost of uninsurable essential losses, cleanup, repairs, and temporary relocation.

Filing your claim:

If you would like to file a claim for this specific Plow Wind event, please contact the RM office to obtain a copy of the Private Property Application form and Private Property Application instruction guide. Ratepayers will submit applications and supporting documentation by mail to directly to SPSA:

Important Dates To Remember:

PDAP Registered Disaster Date: May 27, 2023
Registration of Claims Must Be Returned to PDAP by: November 27, 2023
Work Must Be Completed by: May 27, 2024

Additional Information:

-Original signatures are required for PDAP claim files, therefore PDAP cannot accept emailed or faxed forms.

-Once the claim is registered in the PDAP office, an adjuster will be assigned to the claim and will contact you.
