Bylaws, Policies, & Other Documents

Council meets twice a month to adopt bylaws and policies. These documents apply to all residents, visitors, employees, and business owners in the municipality. Authority to adopt bylaws and policies is delegated to Council through the Municipalities Act, 2005.

COVID-19 Policies

The RM of Edenwold No. 158 continues to prioritize safety in keeping Council, staff, and members of the public healthy and comfortable accessing municipal services during the pandemic. As such, the RM will be following all provincial policies and proof of vaccination requirements. This includes:

  • Proof of Vaccination or a negative COVID test are not required to attend Council meetings or any other public hearing or meeting held by the municipality as of February 22, 2022.
  • Masking is not required inside municipal buildings as of March 1, 2022. The RM encourages residents to wear a mask when indoors and to wear a mask outdoors when social distancing is not possible.
  • Pursuant to the RM's Vaccination and Testing Policy, all RM Councillors and staff are not required to provide proof of vaccination or a negative COVID test. Councillors and staff are encouraged to get vaccinated and wear a mask to protect the health and safety of others.
