The RM is also undertaking a review and update of the Official Community Plan (OCP) and Zoning Bylaw.
- The Official Community Plan (OCP) is the RM’s big-picture plan, guiding decisions on growth and development with key goals and policies.
- The Zoning Bylaw puts the OCP into action with detailed rules for land use and property development.
We are currently in the early stakeholder engagement phase to determine project priorities and are looking for your input on what's working and what could be improved.

Bylaw 2025-07 Zoning Bylaw Text Amendment
Intent: To amend Section 19.1 of the Zoning Bylaw to add the following use to the list of permitted uses in the IND1 - General Industrial zone: "sale, rental, leasing and associated servicing of automobiles, trucks, motorcycles and recreational vehicles."
Purpose: To provide the opportunity to establish automotive sales and related uses on properties zoned IND1.

Bylaw 2025-08 Zoning Bylaw Map Amendment: Parcels A and B, SE 1/4 5-18-17 W2M (AR to CR1)
Intent: To make the appropriate Zoning Bylaw amendment to accommodate the subdivision of an existing residential yard site (Parcel B) and a new residential yard site (Parcel A).
